RCIA 2018-2019

St. Jude has followed our 2018-19 RCIA Catechumens and Candidates throughout their journey that leads up to the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 20.

Our Catechumens: Chloe Doffing-House and Ryan Doyle       Our Candidates: Cari Boone, Stephanie Castellanos, Jenn Doyle, Emma England, Eddie Howard, Jerry Jackson, Sinthia Sandoval, and Jose Avila

On Sunday, November 25th RCIA celebrated The Rite of Acceptance at 8:30 am mass. This is the first rite for our Catechumens and Candidates who are going the RCIA Process. This first rite marks the beginning of the Cathechumenate proper for the nurturing and growth of their faith and their conversion to God. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to study and grow in the Catholic faith.

On Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the 8:30 am mass, the RCIA Catechumens and Candidates signed the Rite of Election book that was taken with them to the Cathedral during a special mass held by Bishop Kemme.

And on Saturday, April 20 at the Easter Vigil mass the Catechumens were baptized and along with the Candidates were confirmed to the church and received their first Holy Communion.

Congratulations to all!
